Bella Swan has just moved to Forks, Wash., the smallest town imaginable, with nothing to offer other than rainy days - until Edward Cullen and his family of vampires enter her life.

This Romeo and Juliet tale with a bloodcurdling twist, part of the "Twilight" novel series by Stephanie Meyer, intoxicates its readers.

Bella and Edward struggle with raging, teenage emotions, as well as a few fatal problems, like his insatiable thirst for her sweet blood.

Edward's icy flesh and gorgeous features intrigue Bella, causing both parties to be addicted to each other. What the two must figure out is if Edward can sustain himself on his "vegetarian" diet of large forest animals, and if Bella can control her clumsy behavior to prevent her demise.

Currently the first novel in the series is being turned into a movie, and all the "Twi-hards" and "Twi-lighters" (obsessed "Twilight" followers) are blowing up the MTV.com blogs.

With Meyer's biting humor and painfully human experiences, "Twilight" is a guilty pleasure always leaving the reader thirsty for more.
