Andy Warhol was a pop artist and an eccentric in the art world.

Now, more than 150 of Warhol's never-before-seen Polaroid and black-and-white photographs taken in the '70s and '80s are on display at Cal State Fullerton's Grand Central Art Center.

CSUF is one of 183 universities to receive the gift from the Andy Warhol Foundation.

The pictures are of Factory friends and unfamiliar socialites such as Pia Miller, as well as more notable faces like Broadway star Liza Minnelli, Oscar-winner Tatum O'Neal, and tennis pro John McEnroe

Like the iconic art he is well known for, Warhol's pictures are of the mundane objects of society, such as dogs, cars and even a man dressed as a vampire.

His collection serves as a behind-the-scenes look into the man who ruled the New York art scene and continues to be a recognizable icon.

Some may see the work of art as photographs that can pass as simple pictures taken by an amateur photographer.

Others, however, may see the work of art as something fascinating because it gives a newfound perspective to the flamboyant artist and reveals his process.

If you're a Warhol fan interested in a deeper insight into his peculiar mind, visit the exhibit.
